The Gambling Free Feed Erasmus+ project launched a new set of free e-learning courses focused on preventing gambling harms among youth. These courses are designed for a wide range of audiences – young people, minors, parents and loved ones, and professionals working with youth – and are available in English, Finnish, Spanish, Portuguese, and Greek. All courses are free to use for everyone.
Gambling is no longer confined to casinos or betting shops. Today, gambling-like elements are embedded in video games, apps, and digital content that young people encounter every day. Many don’t even realize they’ve been exposed. That’s why prevention work needs to meet people where they are: online.
We’ve developed four targeted online courses that explore the risks and realities of gambling from different perspectives. Each course offers insights into how gambling behaviors develop, the role of advertising and digital media, and – most importantly – what individuals can do to protect themselves and others.
Here’s a quick overview of what each course covers:
- For minors: A course designed to build awareness of gambling-like features in games and social media, helping young people recognize risks and stay safe online.
- For young people: A deeper dive into how gambling works, how it can affect your wellbeing, and how you can support friends who might be struggling.
- For significant others: This course is for parents, siblings, and close friends who want to better understand gambling harms and how to offer support to someone they care about.
- For professionals: Tailored for teachers, youth workers, and other professionals, this course offers tools for prevention, youth engagement strategies, and policy-level insights.
All courses are free and accessible online, allowing learners to progress at their own pace. Whether you’re looking to build your own knowledge or to support others, these courses offer practical, research-based content that makes a difference.
The courses are part of the Gambling Free Feed project, coordinated by Sosped Foundation with partner organizations across Europe.

GFF is an Erasmus Plus project that empowers youth against gambling harms by raising awareness of how much gambling-related content they see online. The project is funded by the European Union and is coordinated by Sosped Foundation with four more partner organizations: STANDO from Cyprus, Pista Mágica from Portugal, FEJAR from Spain, and KENTHEA, also from Cyprus. Another important associated partner is Marina Yiannikouri, Head of Responsible Gaming & Social Responsibility from the Cyprus Gaming + Casino Supervision Commission.
